Catching up with a Canadian friend Dave Gravelle
What a great day it was to catch up with Dave Gravelle and his son Ansel. My brother John had recently informed me that Dave and his family were living over here in Melbourne and he was going to send me his contact details. Wasn't I surprised to bump into Dave and his family at the Melbourne airport upon our arrival. Dave and his son Ansel came down to Mount Martha for the day and we had a great time catching up. Unfortunately, his wife Johanna was away in France on business and his daughter Maxine was on a school camping trip but it was great that he and his son could make it down for the day. We had a nice barbecue lunch here and then we went down to the beach for a swim. Cameron got talking to Ansel about these cliffs that we recently had jumped off and the next thing you knew it, we were on our way over to the cliffs. We had a great time jumping off these cliffs in a spectacular part of the Australian coastline. It was so great to spend some time with a former school and hockey friend. Great to see you Dave!
